Overview
trader2B started in 2010 as SFG Trading, a Canadian prop firm, and now runs from Miami. Its ToroChallenge is a one-step evaluation for day traders in the most active US stocks and ETFs, on trader2B's own web, desktop and mobile platform. Pass it and you're recruited to trade a live account on NYSE and Nasdaq. It suits intraday stock traders who place a lot of trades and close out every afternoon.
How the evaluation works
Every plan has the same three requirements: a 6% profit target, at least 200 round trades, and a Consistency Score of 50% or better. Plans are billed monthly.
Toro25: $25,000 of buying power, a $200 daily loss limit and a $1,000 (4%) maximum drawdown.
Toro100: $100,000 of buying power, a $500 daily limit and a $3,000 (3%) maximum drawdown. There's also a free version with delayed data and a lower split.
Toro250: $250,000 of buying power, a $1,250 daily limit and a $7,500 (3%) maximum drawdown.
Rules worth knowing
Positions and open orders must be closed before 16:00 ET. Nothing is held overnight or over the weekend.
There's no time limit. The 200 round trades are the real clock.
The Consistency Score stops you passing on one oversized day.
Hitting the drawdown fails the challenge, but you can reset to the starting balance and try again.
Only symbols on the approved list count.
Getting paid
Paid plans pay 95% on Toro25, 97% on Toro100 and 99% on Toro250. The free Toro100 pays 50%. Payouts run every two weeks, or weekly on Toro250. trader2B says part of your subscription fees can be refunded on paid plans, up to $594, $894 and $1,494 respectively. The site doesn't list payout methods.

What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
trader2B is a long-running stock prop firm, around since 2010, with a small and divided review record. It scores 3.2 on Trustpilot from 78 reviews. Many of the positive reviews are several years old and praise the training and support. The more recent low reviews are about blocked accounts and the firm's consistency score. Forex Peace Army lists the firm but has no reviews, and the Reddit threads we found are from 2017 to 2021.
What traders like
Support and coaching. Older Trustpilot reviews often say staff were friendly and quick to help with setup and technical problems.
Learning to manage risk. Some reviewers say the tight daily drawdown in the challenge forced better habits and helped them turn their trading around.
The trading platform. A few reviewers like the Haywood platform and its level 2 data.
Common complaints
Accounts blocked. Some recent Trustpilot reviewers say their account was suspended without a clear reason and support stopped answering. The firm replies that some of these traders used the free challenge and never qualified for a payout.
The consistency score. Several reviewers say the consistency score makes a payout hard to reach.
Website problems. A few reviewers mention bugs on the website.
Old doubts. Reddit threads from 2020 and 2021 ask whether the funded accounts are real, without firm answers.
Recently
