Overview
TradeDay is a Chicago futures evaluation firm that's been running since 2020. You pay a monthly subscription, pass a single-phase evaluation on CME products, and move to a Funded Sim account with no activation fee. It suits day traders who are flat by the close.
How the evaluation works
Quick Pay: a 6% profit target over at least 5 trading days, with no day worth more than 30% of your profit. The max drawdown is 4% on 25K and 50K and 3% on 100K and 150K, trailing intraday by default. An end-of-day version costs a bit more, but the funded account trails intraday either way.
Fast Pass: the same targets and drawdown sizes, measured end of day, with a 3-day minimum and a 45% consistency cap.
There's no daily loss limit on either. The drawdown stops trailing once it reaches your starting balance.
Rules worth knowing
Every position gets liquidated 10 minutes before the daily close, so nothing is held overnight past the close or over the weekend.
Tier 1 releases like CPI, NFP and FOMC are off limits. Positions are closed 2 minutes before and trading reopens 2 minutes after.
Your own bots are fine on the supported platforms. Bots bought from a third party aren't.
Copy trading works across evaluation and Funded Sim accounts, up to 10 accounts.
Getting paid
Quick Pay funded accounts can request a payout from the first day, minimum $250. The split is 50/50 while the account holds less than $4,000 profit and 80/20 above that. Fast Pass pays 80/20 after 5 profitable days, with a cap per payout from $750 to $2,250 by size. Funded Live traders get 90/10. Payouts go through Rise to a bank wire or crypto, usually next business day.

What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
TradeDay, a Chicago futures firm running since 2020, scores well on review sites and much worse on Reddit. It holds 4.6 on Trustpilot from about 1,400 reviews, a quarter or so of them invited by the firm, and 4.4 on Prop Firm Match from only 16 reviews. Reddit threads lean critical, mostly about rules and payout caps rather than unpaid withdrawals.
What traders like
Payouts arrive. Many Trustpilot reviewers describe quick withdrawals, some within a day of the request, and several mention repeat payouts.
Simple, fair rules. Reviewers often say the rules are easier to follow than at other firms they have used.
A path to live capital. Some like that funded traders can move on to a live account with real money.
Support and the 2.0 revamp. Recent reviewers praise support and say the relaunched platform and lower prices are an improvement.
Common complaints
Consistency rules and payout caps. Several Reddit users say the consistency rules are among the strictest in futures and the caps on funded payouts are low.
Slow evaluation. A few find the minimum number of trading days too long.
Bans. A few Reddit users say accounts were banned without a clear reason, including one who says a large pending payout was cancelled with only the fee refunded, and another who says traders get banned for growing accounts too fast.
Payout reviews. Some say milestone reviews delayed a payout by more than a day.
Recently
July 2026: Fast Pass funded accounts opened from 26 July carry a new 45% consistency rule and a lower payout cap. Existing accounts are mostly grandfathered.
August to September 2026: the firm added Rithmic as a second platform route and a 25K account, and ran deep discounts on evaluations.
