Overview

Shark Futures is a futures prop firm run by UAB Propfirms in Vilnius, Lithuania. It sells one-time evaluations and instant funded accounts for CME products, traded on Volumetrica or Tradesea with a Rithmic feed. It suits day traders who want end-of-day drawdown, no activation fee and a choice between passing a test or skipping it.

How the evaluation works

  • Basic: a 6% target, no daily loss limit, a 40% consistency rule and an end-of-day trailing drawdown of 3% to 4%. You need at least three trading days.

  • Basic Plus: the same 6% target with a daily loss limit of 2.5% and no consistency rule, so you can pass in one day. The drawdown is a little wider on the larger sizes.

  • Instant Pro: no evaluation. A trailing end-of-day drawdown of 4% to 5%, a 3% daily limit on most sizes and a 20% consistency rule for payouts.

Evaluations have to be passed within 30 days. Resets are available.

Rules worth knowing

  • All trades close by 4:15pm ET and nothing is held over the weekend.

  • News trading is allowed, but news straddling with opposing orders isn't.

  • Hedging is banned, including across your own accounts or another firm.

  • Bots need approval. HFT, tick scalping and arbitrage are banned.

  • Copy trading your own accounts is fine. Up to five accounts at once.

Getting paid

Every account pays 90%. Once funded, every account follows a 35% consistency rule and needs six qualifying days of $150 profit or more before each payout. Instant accounts need eight qualifying days and a 20% rule. The minimum request is $250. Requests are reviewed within 24 hours and paid through Rise, which offers bank transfer, crypto and some e-wallets.

What traders say

Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.

Shark Futures is a very new futures prop firm, launched in April 2026, and its review record is short. It scores 4.2 on Trustpilot from about 77 reviews, and Trustpilot notes the firm has not invited reviews recently but replies to most negative ones. Beyond that there is one Reddit thread from launch week. Early feedback is mostly positive about price and payout speed, but there is not much of it yet.

What traders like

  • Cheap evaluations, no activation fee. Several reviewers say fees are lower than at older firms and there is no activation fee.

  • Payouts within a few days. A number of Trustpilot reviewers report payouts landing in two to three days, including one trader with several payouts at once.

  • Simple rules. Reviewers like the end-of-day drawdown, no daily loss limit on most accounts, and being free to trade news.

  • Friendly support. Support staff get named praise for being helpful.

Common complaints

  • Payout delays and caps. Reviews from May 2026, summarised by PropFirmMap, mention payouts taking three to eight weeks and caps on early payouts.

  • Rules around payouts. Some point to the consistency rule, minimum trading days and minimum daily profit needed before a payout, plus an extra KYC step when moving to a live account.

  • A new, unproven firm. Reddit users at launch questioned whether a firm with only Instagram and Discord could be trusted.

Recently

  • August 2026: The Industry Spread reported that the terms cut the advertised 90% split to 80% on live accounts, that the consistency rule does not appear in the contract, and that the firm publishes no audited payout data.

  • September 2026: recent Trustpilot reviews mention a platform migration that went smoothly and payouts received within a few days.
