Overview

QT Funded is the prop trading arm of Quant Tekel, a London-based group founded in 2023 that also runs a broker licensed in South Africa. You trade forex, indices, metals and crypto on MT5 or TradeLocker. It suits traders who want a fast pass and short payout cycles, and who keep losing trades small.

How the evaluation works

  • QT ONE: one phase with a 6% target, a 3% daily limit that resets from the previous day's higher balance or equity, and a static 6% maximum. No minimum days, so you can pass in a single session.

  • QT TWO: 8% then 5%, with a fixed 4% daily and static 8% maximum, and at least 4 trading days in each phase.

  • QT INSTANT: no evaluation. A fixed 3% daily limit and a 6% maximum that trails your highest balance or equity until your first withdrawal locks it at the starting balance.

Rules worth knowing

The funded rules are tighter than the evaluation. QT ONE and QT TWO funded accounts can't carry more than 1% floating loss at once, and QT INSTANT allows 1% per instrument. On QT TWO and INSTANT funded accounts, every trade needs a stop loss within 60 seconds. QT TWO also caps profit at 5% per cycle and forfeits profit from restricted news trades. INSTANT has a 30% consistency score. Accounts close after 7 days without a trade on QT ONE and 14 days on the others. You can hold over the weekend, but can't open or edit trades then.

Getting paid

QT ONE pays 70% every 4 trading days, QT TWO 80% every 14 days, and QT INSTANT 100% every 4 days once you've banked 8% and had 4 days of at least 1%. Payouts go to a crypto wallet.

What traders say

Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.

QT Funded, the prop arm of the Quant Tekel group, has a large review base and a worsening tone. The firm's own site shows 3.9 on Trustpilot from about 13,000 reviews, and Prop Firm Match shows 3.7 from about 750 verified reviews. Since late 2025 the low reviews have been dominated by payout delays, mandatory payout interviews scheduled weeks out, and denied payouts. A July 2026 review site reports the firm was delisted from Prop Firm Match. Forex Peace Army has a page with complaints but no score, and Myfxbook has a single one-star review.

What traders like

  • Support staff. Many positive reviews name individual support agents who sorted out dashboard or KYC problems quickly.

  • Price. Cheap challenges and frequent discounts come up often.

  • Clear rules early on. Some traders on Prop Firm Match say the rules were clear and they were funded without trouble.

Common complaints

  • Payouts stalled by interviews. Many reviewers on Prop Firm Match, Trustpilot and Reddit say a required payout interview was set weeks or months after the request, then postponed, while the account sat frozen.

  • Denied payouts and breaches. Several traders say a payout was refused or an account breached over reverse trading, inactivity or a drawdown figure they dispute, in one Forex Peace Army case sending the trader back to phase 1.

  • Discord bans. A recurring claim is that traders were banned from the firm's Discord for asking about pending payouts.

  • A non-disclosure agreement before payment. Reddit posters say a co-founder asked for a non-disclosure agreement before releasing earned funds.

  • Long-running technical problems. Prop Firm Match reviewers complain about a risk tool issue that went unresolved for months.

Recently

  • July to October 2026: a July review site reports the Prop Firm Match delisting and documents payout delays and Discord bans as a pattern through 2026. In late September a Forex Peace Army reviewer said a $33,000 payout was denied and the account reset to the first phase.
