Overview

Phidias Propfirm is a futures-only prop firm registered in Gibraltar. It sells three one-step programs, trades through Rithmic or Tradovate, and clears with Dorman Trading once you reach a live account. It suits day traders who want an end-of-day drawdown, and swing traders who need to hold positions overnight.

How the evaluation works

  • Express to Live (25K to 150K): a dollar target of $1,500 to $4,500 with a static drawdown that never moves. It's only $1,000 on a 150K account.

  • Fundamental (50K to 150K): 8% target on 50K and 6% on the larger sizes, with an end-of-day trailing drawdown of $2,500 to $4,500. Three trading days minimum.

  • Premium (50K to 150K): the same targets and drawdowns as Fundamental, but you can pass in one trading day.

No evaluation has a daily loss limit or a consistency rule. You can pay monthly or once.

Rules worth knowing

News trading is allowed everywhere. Fully automated bots are banned; semi-automated tools are fine. Fundamental and Express to Live accounts must be flat by the end of the day, while Premium lets you hold overnight and over the weekend. Funded Fundamental and Premium accounts add a 30% consistency rule, so no single day can make up more than 30% of your profit. The restricted country list is long, so check it first.

Getting paid

Fundamental pays 80% every 10 trading days. Premium pays every 5 days on a split that starts at 75% and reaches 100% by the fifth payout. Express to Live works differently: hit the target on the funded account and you get an 80/20 bonus plus a move to a live account with daily payouts. Money lands in a Phidias wallet, then goes to your bank through Rise. The minimum withdrawal is $500.

What traders say

Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.

Phidias has no current Trustpilot score. Trustpilot has withdrawn the rating for a breach of its guidelines and says it removed a number of fake reviews, so any star figure quoted elsewhere (3.2 to 3.9 on various sites) should be treated with care. The page still has about 300 reviews, and over the last 12 months they split sharply: roughly 63% five-star and 29% one-star. Fans praise fast payouts, quick support and simple rules. Critics describe denied payouts, closed accounts and data feed problems.

What traders like

  • Fast payouts. Many reviewers say payouts landed in their wallet within a day, some within minutes.

  • Quick, human support. Several reviewers, including French-speaking traders on Prop Firm Match, say support answers almost at once and in several languages.

  • Simple rules. Traders on Reddit and Trustpilot like accounts with a static or end-of-day drawdown, no consistency rule and the option to hold swing trades overnight.

Common complaints

  • Payouts denied and accounts closed. Several Trustpilot reviewers say a later payout was refused and the account closed over alleged automated trading or linked accounts, which they dispute. A Reddit commenter says problems start once withdrawals reach a few thousand dollars.

  • Data and platform faults. Some say the feed froze or spreads blew out, causing large losses, and others say the dashboard showed P&L incorrectly.

  • Promotions and billing. A few reviewers describe a promotion price that changed at checkout, card payment problems, or marketing emails they could not stop.

  • Generic replies. One review site notes that the firm answers most negative reviews, but often without addressing the specific complaint.

Recently

  • August to September 2026: an August aggregator put sentiment at 3 out of 5 and called the record divided. By September, review sites were reporting that Trustpilot had withdrawn the score, while new reviews kept arriving into late September.
