Overview
OneUp Trader sells a one-step futures evaluation on Rithmic and includes a NinjaTrader licence and market data at no extra cost. It suits day traders who want a simple single target and a drawdown that stops trailing once it reaches the starting balance.
How the evaluation works
Both plans run from $25,000 to $250,000, billed monthly, with a 7-day free trial.
Evaluation: a 6% target, at least 10 trading days, and a trailing drawdown from 6% on the 25K down to 2.2% on the 250K.
Pro Evaluation: the same targets and drawdowns, but you can pass in 5 trading days at a higher monthly price.
There's no daily loss limit. The drawdown is calculated in real time and stops moving once it reaches your starting balance. Resets cost $50 on the 25K and 50K and $100 on the larger sizes.
Rules worth knowing
All positions must be closed by 3:15 PM CT, and nothing can be held over the weekend. The consistency rule means your three next-best days have to add up to at least 80% of your best day. You can trade news during the evaluation, but funded accounts must be flat before and during major releases. Funded traders also face a 90-day probation and weekly activity checks. When you pass, you pay the other half of the fee as an activation charge.
Getting paid
You keep the first $10,000 of profit in full and 90% after that, once you're above the account's withdrawal threshold. Requests are handled the same day from Monday to Friday, with a $1,000 minimum. Payment is by bank wire or crypto, and crypto is limited to one request a week of up to $3,000.

What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
OneUp Trader is one of the older futures prop firms, around since 2016 to 2017, and its Trustpilot page is strong: 4.7 from about 2,700 reviews. Most reviewers describe a plain one-step evaluation and quick, friendly support. Criticism is quieter and mostly appears on Reddit and in review-site write-ups, about the trailing drawdown, monthly fees and the odd disputed payout.
What traders like
Support. Trustpilot's own summary of recent reviews singles out fast, friendly replies, and many reviewers say problems were fixed straight away.
A simple evaluation. People like the single step, the lack of a daily loss limit and the absence of a deadline.
Track record. Several long-time customers say they have traded with the firm for a year or two without trouble, and that it was already well known when they started.
The payout terms. Reviewers mention keeping all of the first $10,000 and 90% after that, plus a free NinjaTrader licence and data.
Common complaints
A strict trailing drawdown. Some traders and review sites say it is tight for more aggressive strategies.
Monthly fees. The evaluation bills monthly until you pass, which a few say adds up if it takes a while.
Payout friction. A Reddit thread mentions payout delays of up to two weeks, and one poster says their funded account was closed at the first payout request over a rule breach they dispute.
Platform stability. A few traders have flagged connection problems.
Recently
Nothing stands out in the last 90 days. The Trustpilot count kept climbing through July to September 2026 and the score held at 4.7.
