Overview
Funded Trading Plus (FT+) has been around since 2021 and was bought by Instant Funding in May 2026. It offers simulated forex, index, commodity and crypto CFD accounts on MT5 and Match-Trader. It suits traders who want quick access to payouts and don't need the fee back.
How the evaluation works
1-Step Express: a 10% target, a 4% daily loss limit and a 6% max loss. The max loss trails your closed balance until it reaches the starting balance.
2-Step Classic: 7% in each phase, with a 4% daily and 8% static overall limit.
Instant: no evaluation, with a 6% daily limit and a 6% max loss that trails the same way as the 1-Step.
Pass Now Pay Later: a $4 one-step challenge with a 2% target. You pay the activation fee only if you pass.
Rules worth knowing
The 2-Step Classic has a 35% consistency rule in both phases and 50% once funded. It also has a 3% symbol loss limit: losing more than 3% on a single instrument in a day closes the account. Instant accounts can't hold over the weekend, and open trades are closed at 4.30pm EST on Friday. You can hedge within one account but not across accounts. Copy trading is only allowed between your own accounts. Accounts need a trade every 30 days.
Getting paid
Every program starts at an 80% split. It rises to 90% once a funded account reaches 20% profit. On the 1-Step and Instant you can request a payout from day one, with a $50 minimum, then every 7 days. The 2-Step pays from day 10 and every 10 days after. Payouts go out in crypto or through Rise, and the new programs don't refund the fee.

What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
Funded Trading Plus has a long record of positive reviews, and it scores 4.3 on Prop Firm Match from about 70 verified traders. Its Trustpilot page, with roughly 2,650 reviews, no longer shows a score: Trustpilot says it removed a number of fake reviews, and review sites that quoted 4.4 earlier in 2026 now report the score as hidden. Since Instant Funding bought the firm in May 2026, a share of reviewers say things have changed for the worse.
What traders like
Fast payouts. Many reviewers say payouts landed within a day, with the first available from day one of funding.
Few restrictions. Traders like the absence of consistency rules on most programs, and being allowed to hold over weekends and trade the news.
Support. Prop Firm Match reviewers often name individual support staff who sorted out a problem quickly.
Long-term payers. Several traders on Reddit and Trustpilot describe many payouts over one to two years without trouble.
Common complaints
Bans after passing. Some reviewers say accounts were closed at the KYC stage or for copy trading or excessive risk, and that the reason given was vague.
Worse conditions. Several Trustpilot and Reddit posters say spreads, swap costs and fills have got worse, and that older, looser challenges were replaced with trailing drawdown and consistency rules.
The sale to Instant Funding. A number of long-time customers say they are unhappy with the new ownership and that replies have slowed.
Forex Peace Army disputes. A handful of one-star reports there allege manipulated account figures.
