Overview
DayTraders is a Las Vegas futures evaluation firm, around since 2023, that runs its own browser platform called ArcTrader on Rithmic data. Evaluations start at $40 with a flat $5 activation fee when you pass, and you can pay once or monthly. It suits traders who want a cheap, quick evaluation and don't mind a strict payout routine.
How the evaluation works
EOD: a 6% target on 25K and 50K (5% on 300K), an end-of-day trailing drawdown of about 4% on the smaller sizes, and a daily loss limit that pauses you for the day.
Trailing: similar targets, a bigger drawdown that trails intraday, and no daily loss limit.
Static: a small drawdown that never moves, for example a $2,500 target and $750 loss limit on 25K.
Straight to Funded: no evaluation, with an end-of-day drawdown from day one.
Every evaluation needs 2 qualifying days, meaning days that hit a minimum profit ($100 on 25K, up to $400 on 300K). No day can be more than 50% of your total profit.
Rules worth knowing
News trading, overnight holds and weekend holds are all allowed, but mark-to-market moves can still breach your drawdown.
Bots and automation are fine as long as they aren't high-frequency.
Hedging between accounts is banned.
Lifetime accounts need 4 qualifying days every 30 days to stay active.
Getting paid
Funded accounts pay 100% of sim profits. You need 8 qualifying days per payout cycle (10 on Straight to Funded), no day above 30% of the cycle's profit (20% on Straight to Funded), and a balance cushion before you can ask. Requests start at $500, are capped by size, and go through Plane. After six payouts you're reviewed for a live account.

What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
DayTraders is a futures prop firm with a short but positive review record: 4.5 on Trustpilot from about 450 reviews, and 5.0 on Prop Firm Match from only 7. Roughly four in five Trustpilot reviewers give five stars, and a fair share of reviews come from people the firm invited. Most praise is about speed, both of support and of payouts. Most criticism is about rule changes.
What traders like
Payouts approved fast. Many reviewers say payouts were approved within minutes, which fits the firm's automated approval process.
Quick support. Fast replies from customer service and live chat come up again and again, with one Prop Firm Match reviewer putting it at a few minutes.
Simple rules and pricing. Reviewers like the one-time evaluation fee, clear payout rules and stable data, and a few say the firm settled a platform glitch in their favour.
Common complaints
Rules changed mid-contract. Several traders say DayTraders brought in weekly qualifying day requirements in early 2026 on accounts they had already bought.
Extra checks before payouts. One Prop Firm Match reviewer describes being placed on probation or under review and asked for video evidence before getting paid.
Limits and fees. Some would like more than 15 funded accounts, and a few flag the activation fee on Trail and Static accounts.
The negative side is thin in this evidence, with only a handful of specific complaints.
