Overview
Day Trader Funding (DTF) is a futures prop firm backed by DTR Trading LLC, a trading coaching business that's been running since 2020. It's a solo-founder operation that sells one evaluation, paid once, on CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX contracts through Volumetrica. It suits intraday futures traders who like a fixed loss line while they prove themselves and want paying early once funded.
How the evaluation works
Evaluation (50K, 100K, 150K): a 6% target and a fixed drawdown that doesn't trail: $2,000, $3,000 or $4,500. No daily loss limit, no consistency rule, no time limit, and at least three qualifying days.
A qualifying day needs at least $100 of realized profit or loss. List prices are $247.50 to $597.50, though the site has been running 60% off. Resets cost $79 to $169, and you can buy bundles that include resets or coaching.
Rules worth knowing
Positions must be closed by 4:59pm ET. Nothing overnight or over the weekend.
News trading is allowed, FOMC and NFP included.
Once funded, the drawdown trails intraday until your profit clears the buffer, then switches to end-of-day trailing.
Copying trades across accounts can trigger a review.
An account with no trades for 28 days loses its data feed.
Getting paid
You keep 80%. Funded activation is free and you can request a payout from your first funded day. After that you need three new green days of $100 or more, and new profit above your last payout, before asking again. You get four payout slots a month, no more than one per account every seven days, with a $100 minimum. Caps start at $500 to $1,500 and rise as you rack up green days. Payouts go through Rise, and strong traders move on to live capital.
