Overview
Bitfunded is a crypto prop firm based in the United Arab Emirates and running since 2023. You trade more than 100 crypto pairs on its own web platform, with up to $150,000 in simulated capital. It suits discretionary crypto traders who are comfortable with low leverage and want to choose when they get paid.
How the evaluation works
2 Steps: 8% then 5%, with a 5% daily loss limit. The maximum loss is 10% in the first phase and 8% after that. Prices run from $79 for $5K to $799 for $100K.
1 Step: a 10% target, a 4% daily limit and a 6% maximum loss, from $99 for $5K to $1,399 for $150K.
Instant: no target, a 3% daily limit and a 6% maximum loss, in sizes from $2,500 ($129) to $10,000 ($449).
Every limit is a fixed share of the starting balance. The overall floor never moves, and the daily limit resets at midnight UTC+8. Floating losses count. There's no minimum day count or time limit, and you need to close every position before moving to the next stage.
Rules worth knowing
Leverage is 1:5 on every program.
Bots, EAs, hedging, copy trading and running several profiles are all banned.
Weekend and news trading are allowed.
Only the 2-step fee is refunded, and only after three clean payouts.
Getting paid
Challenge accounts pay 80%, instant accounts 60%. Instead of a fixed cycle you set your own profit split day anywhere from 2 to 60 days out, and you can change it up to three times a month. Each account can take up to two payouts per 30 days, dropping to one a month after ten payouts. Instant accounts pay once a month. Payouts go out in USDT on ERC-20, BEP-20 or TRC-20 and are processed within 24 hours of your split day.

What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
Bitfunded is a crypto-only prop firm with a small but mostly positive review record: 4.6 on Trustpilot from about 190 reviews. That pool is thin compared with the bigger firms, and Forex Peace Army has a page with no score. The praise is about support and quick USDT payouts. The criticism is less about whether payouts arrive and more about how much of a payout survives the firm's review.
What traders like
Responsive support. Support is the most praised thing in the reviews. Several reviewers describe it as fast and helpful, and one says it is the main reason they stayed.
Quick payouts. Many positive reviews say withdrawals landed within about 24 hours of approval, in USDT.
Low entry cost and a clean dashboard. Reviewers mention the cheap starting price and a dashboard that tracks targets and drawdown clearly.
Common complaints
Payout deductions after review. Several reviewers say the risk team cut a payout by 50% to 70%, citing trades without both stop loss and take profit, or margin use the trader disputes. They say these decisions are final and the replies read like a script.
Rules they did not see at purchase. One Forex Peace Army reviewer says a rule was applied after the withdrawal request, and that an approved payout never reached their wallet.
Platform limits. Some mention iOS issues, slowness at busy times, and the 5x leverage cap.
Extra checks on larger payouts. One trader describes a video KYC interview before a later payout.
