Overview
Darwinex Zero works differently from most firms on this list. You pay a monthly subscription, trade a virtual account, and your results become a DARWIN, an investable index that can win allocations and investor money. You can trade forex, indices, commodities, crypto CFDs, stocks, ETFs and futures. It suits patient traders who want a verified track record more than a quick funded account.
How the evaluation works
There's no pass or fail challenge. You get a virtual account and trade it your way.
FX/CFD membership: €45 a month for a $100K virtual account on MT4, MT5 or TradingView.
Futures membership: €50 a month (the extra €5 covers market data).
Annual and three-year plans: €420 and €1,080, both cheaper per month than paying monthly.
Darwinex's risk engine adjusts your strategy to a target risk level before investors see it. The site doesn't publish a fixed daily or overall loss limit.
Rules worth knowing
Restarting your account gives you a fresh account and a new DARWIN ticker, so your history starts again.
Restarts aren't included in the annual or three-year plans and cost extra.
Stocks and ETFs are only on MT5.
EAs work on MT4 and MT5.
Getting paid
You don't take a profit split on your own trading. Darwinex Zero pays a 15% performance fee on returns made with capital allocated to your DARWIN, measured against a high-water mark. That capital comes from the monthly DarwinIA competition, optional Boosters and Permanent Allocations you can buy, and real investors. Fees are paid quarterly by default. A monthly option exists for DarwinIA, Booster and Permanent Allocation capital at an extra charge. You can put earned fees toward your membership.

What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
Darwinex Zero is not a challenge firm, and its reviews read differently. Traders pay a monthly subscription, trade a virtual account, and earn a 15% performance fee only once investor or seed capital is allocated to their strategy. It holds 4.2 on Trustpilot from about 390 reviews. Prop Firm Match has only two reviews, too few to mean much, and the Forex Peace Army page has no score in the evidence.
What traders like
No rules to breach. Reddit and Trustpilot reviewers like that there is no drawdown limit that ends the account and no restriction on trading style, EAs or news.
A regulated parent. Many mention that the Darwinex group has been running since 2012 under FCA oversight, and pick it for that reason.
Support. Several Trustpilot reviewers praise named support staff for handling complaints well.
Open to US traders. A few Reddit users say they use it because most CFD prop firms will not take them.
Common complaints
The 15% share. Reddit threads and review roundups say the split is low next to prop firms, though defenders point out it matches hedge fund norms.
Subscription costs add up. Some Trustpilot reviewers say the monthly fee is steep for beginners, and that reaching an allocation takes a long time.
The scoring and risk engine. Several reviewers find the DARWIN rating system hard to follow, and a few dispute how the risk engine treated their strategy.
Trading costs. A Forex Peace Army reviewer says spreads and commissions are high, especially on gold.
Investor side. A recent Trustpilot reviewer using the platform as an investor says the execution has become disappointing.
Recently
No clearly dated reviews from the last 90 days appear in the evidence. The Trustpilot page was updated within the past two weeks, and the firm has replied to most negative reviews there.
