Overview
Axi is a forex and CFD broker that started in Australia in 2007 and now serves clients in more than 100 countries. It suits MT4 traders who want low raw-spread pricing and a simple choice of accounts. The group holds licences from the FCA in the UK, ASIC in Australia, the FMA in New Zealand, CySEC in Cyprus and the DFSA in Dubai, and it also runs an offshore entity in St Vincent and the Grenadines, where negative balance protection doesn't apply.

MT4 comes with Autochartist and Expert Advisor support, and there's a separate copy trading app that links to your MT4 account. Markets include forex, indices, shares, commodities and ETFs, plus crypto CFDs, and UK clients can choose CFDs or spread betting from the same account.
Money in and out

What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
Axi gets a broadly positive reception from the bulk of its reviewers, with a sharper set of complaints about withdrawals and disputed trades on the forex review sites. It holds 4.1 on Trustpilot from about 7,900 reviews. Sitejabber shows 2.9, but from only seven reviews. Forex Peace Army and Myfxbook have active pages without a current score in the material we collected.
What traders like
Helpful support. Many Trustpilot and Myfxbook reviewers praise quick, patient replies, often naming the agent who helped.
Easy deposits and withdrawals. Plenty of long-time clients say they have moved money in and out for years without a problem.
Low trading costs. Several reviewers rate Axi's all-in costs on majors and commodities among the cheapest they have used, though a minority find some spreads wide.
Axi Select. Some traders like the funded program that lets them trade their own deposit and earn extra capital, and say payouts arrive on schedule.
Common complaints
Withdrawals delayed or blocked. On Forex Peace Army, Trustpilot and complaint sites, a recurring story is a withdrawal held for days or weeks with support saying it needs higher approval. Several of these involve rules that money must go back to the original deposit method.
Profits cancelled and accounts closed. A number of reviewers say profitable trades were reversed or Axi Select progress was denied over trading style rules, and dispute Axi's reading of those rules.
App freezes in fast markets. Some users on Reddit and Trustpilot say the app or MT5 froze while they tried to close a losing trade. Axi replied on Reddit that the cause was server load.
Local payment methods. A few Indian reviewers say UPI deposits and internet banking stopped working after a platform change.
