Overview

Alpari is one of the old names in retail forex, around since 1998 and now running as an offshore MT4 and MT5 broker. Its only current licence is from the Mwali International Services Authority in Comoros, held by Parlance Trading Ltd, so there's no top-tier regulator and no compensation scheme behind it. It suits traders outside the big regulated markets who want cheap ECN pricing and high leverage, and who accept the offshore risk. It doesn't take clients from the US, UK, EU, Canada, Japan or India.

Accounts and costs

There are four live accounts. Micro is a cent account on MT4 from $30, with spreads from 1.5 pips. Standard starts at $100 with spreads from 1.2 pips and no commission. ECN needs $300 and quotes from 0.8 pips, still commission-free. Pro ECN needs $500 and goes from 0.0 pips with a $2.50 per lot commission on forex. Leverage runs up to 1:3000 on the ECN accounts, though it drops to 1:200 around major news and before weekend closes. Swap-free versions are available, and there's a welcome bonus and a rewards scheme.

Platforms and markets

You trade on MT4, MT5 or Alpari's own app. There's no TradingView or cTrader. The list is about 750 CFDs: forex, metals, indices, commodities, crypto, and on MT5 stock and ETF CFDs. PAMM accounts let you put money with other traders instead of trading yourself.

Money in and out

Deposits and withdrawals go through cards, bank wire, e-wallets like Skrill and Neteller, crypto and local methods, with fees varying by method. Payouts go back to the source you paid in from, in your own name. If you withdraw without having traded, Alpari can charge you the bank fees or 3% of the amount.

What traders say

Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.

Trader opinion of Alpari is mixed and leans negative. Its Trustpilot page, about 200 reviews after several profiles were merged, showed a 4-star rating in 2025, but by August 2026 a review site reported that Trustpilot had suspended the profile's rating for a breach of its guidelines. On Myfxbook, the Alpari INT page scores 3.4 from 13 reviews. Forex Peace Army has an active page with many complaints but no score in our evidence.

What traders like

  • Long history. Several reviewers say they have used Alpari for three to five years or more without trouble.

  • MetaTrader and pricing. Positive reviews often mention a stable MT4 and MT5 setup and tight spreads on major pairs.

  • Crypto funding. Some reviewers say stablecoin deposits and withdrawals are quick, sometimes within minutes.

  • PAMM accounts. A few investors in Alpari's PAMM accounts report no problems.

Common complaints

  • Withdrawals. The most common complaint by far. Reviewers describe withdrawals stuck for weeks, a withdrawal button that disappeared, requests for extra deposits or documents before paying out, and in some regions crypto as the only working withdrawal route.

  • Bonus terms. Several Trustpilot reviewers say deposit bonuses came with trading restrictions they did not expect, or that support described the bonus rules differently before and after a trade.

  • Execution and order handling. Some traders allege heavy slippage, spread widening and orders being removed or closed without notice.

  • Unhelpful support. A repeated theme is support that sends the same reply each day without fixing the problem.

Recently

  • August 2026: a review site reported that Trustpilot shows the Alpari profile as suspended, with no rating.

  • September 2026: new Forex Peace Army reviews describe refused withdrawals, with Alpari replying that it does not do what was described. WikiFX, which collects complaints, rates the broker low on its own safety score, and BrokerChooser lists it as not a trusted provider.
